The European crisis in the view of Edmund Husserl

This paper aims to present the main ideas of Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) in his book The Crisis of European Humanity and Philosophy (1935). To better understand this work we also proposed to seek a better understanding of the life and work of the author as a whole. Understanding the time in which Husserl wrote is crucial to understanding the conclusions which he reaches in his book and also to understanding which authorities and institutions he criticizes. The work is divided into six points, in which we analyse his biographical data, general aspects of his work, his phenomenological philosophy and his doctrine of transcendental subjectivity, in order to finally reach the approach to the central work of our study.
