Abstract

Opening text of the issue, addressed to readers. The editorial office records that this is the first volume published after the death of Denis Borges Barbosa, one of the journal's founders, and presents the composition of the issue, which brings together articles, a book review and a legal opinion. It mentions contributions by faculty members and their advisees on copyright, technology, the deep web and software; the legal opinion written by Pedro Marcos Barbosa; two articles by the editor-in-chief herself on software, completing a trilogy begun in earlier issues; and the review by José Maurício de Carvalho of Martin Buber's The way of man. It closes by wishing readers a good reading.
