Abstract

The access to technology can be an important tool for catching up and for the reduction of the existing gap between the developed and developing countries. Thus, it must be wondered if the access to imported technologies through the Technology Transfer Agreements recorded at the BPTO enable an accumulation of knowledge by national companies, allowing the implementation of Products and Processes Innovations. Seeking to contribute for this complex discussion, the present study aims to verify the relevance attributed by the companies part of the PINTEC to the acquisition of knowledge through Technology Transfer Agreements.
